Description

With effect from 19 November 2001 BBJ Consult Aktiengesellschaft (BBJ Consult Inc) has become the legal successor of BBJ BET GmbH (BBJ Holding, Finance Intermediary and Personnel Development Company Ltd.) which had existed since 1994. BBJ Consult AG is part of the BBJ company group, which since its foundation in 1982 has developed into one of the largest social consultancy companies in Germany.

BBJ is particularly involved in labour market and employment, social policy, public administration reform, vocational education and training, youth policy and regional and structural policy including SME support. It provides policy advice, technical assistance and administrative services, project design and management at national and international level. It has built its reputation on its innovative approach and the intermediary role that it plays between public policy on the one hand and enterprises, social initiatives and interests on the other.

Since the beginning of the nineties, BBJ has increasingly been engaged in international consultancy particularly in the fields of public administration reform and labour market policy concentrating on Central and Eastern Europe (Armenia, Russian Federation, Poland, Hungary, Czech and the Slovak Republics, Romania, Slovenia and Ukraine) using the company's wide experience gained in the development and implementation of labour market policy projects and programmes under transition conditions in the new federal states of Germany. Expressed in figures this means that since the beginning of the nineties BBJ has carried out more than 60 projects in twenty countries in Europe, in the Meditrerranean area and in Asia.
In addition, BBJ - through its expert database "BBJ-ExpertNet" - can rely on its own pool of highly qualified experts who not only have the necessary academic knowledge in the specific fields, but who also possess many years of practical experience.
